Program Coordinator

160x180-Katie.png Katie Big-Canoe is a member of the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation and is the Program Coordinator for the Indigenous Health Lab and Indigenous Mentorship Network of Ontario. She holds two degrees from Western University; a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Geography, and a Master of Arts in Geography. She brings over 10 years’ experience working in the community-based research field, most recently completing the data collection for a comprehensive urban Aboriginal research project entitled Our Health Counts London.
